Why did I buy the $12 USD. Kakuno pen?
I bought it because I like modern style. The ample girth of the nib section makes it a keeper. The nib would be almost perfect if it weren’t for the childish smiley face inscribed on it. The Kakuno pen writing nib is good with writing feedback and a bit of scratchiness for a Japanese, fine nib. Then I learned by the Internet that one can convert the pen to an eydropper.
Supplies needed for conversion to eyedropper ink filling of Kakuno pen:
🔵hot beeswax
🔵a chopstick or a similar applicator
🔵small, 5mm. gasket
🔵silicone grease
